The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Summary: The Rehabilitation Aide is an integral member of the interdisciplinary health care team. The incumbent assists with client treatment and duties which promote client well-being and mobility. This individual will be responsible for the inventory, maintenance, and of ordering equipment as required. The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health‐Santé Sud. Qualifications: • Graduate of Rehabilitation Assistant course is required • Computer knowledge and proficient computer skills • A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered • Two (2) years of recent, relevant demonstrated experience in direct patient care duties would be an asset • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with others • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships • Demonstrated ability to problem solve within the responsibilities.
