Housing and Property Litigation Lawyer Newcastle upon Tyne or alternative flexible location, Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw) Salary circa £45,000 negotiable based on skills and experience. You’ll provide vital legal support on matters of housing management and property litigation to colleagues, acting for the business in both defending legal cases and taking legal actions as necessary. Working with our Head of Housing and Development Legal and the other legal teams in our Legal Department, you’ll deliver a customer focused in-house legal service. Typical day as a Housing Property Disputes Lawyer Your main job is to handle and give advice on issues like anti-social behaviour or possession cases. You help other teams within Home Group, to understand and respond to property litigation matters and claims. You oversee work given to outside firms, making sure it's done well and effectively. You get applications ready for court or tribunal, doing research, preparing disclosure, and writing statements. Sometimes, you might represent the company in court or ask another lawyer to do so.
