In this role you will be at the forefront of a new area in our business. As this is a first step into a new area this role will be temporary until the 31st of August 2024 with the possibility of becoming permanent after this. About the role: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of IKEA goods to customers in the local area whilst delivering a high level of service, to ensure our customers have the best shopping experience at IKEA! This role offers a competitive salary starting at £26,000 per annum. You will work 43.2 hours per week working 4-5 days out of 7, including weekends. Hours of operation for this role are between 6am and 9pm. At IKEA we believe in taking care of our people so in this role you will enjoy the benefit of 28 days annual leave each year, regular scheduled weekends off, a 15% IKEA employee discount, and subsidised meals in store among many other benefits. Who we are looking for: • You must have held a clean Full UK Drivers License for a minimum of 24 months. • You have a passion to deliver the best possible experience, are happy to take responsibility and problem solve when things aren’t right. • You are someone who takes Health & Safety seriously and are comfortable risk backssing your environment. • You are attentive to details especially when it comes to performing checks on your vehicle. • You are a confident and capable driver, experienced in working with GPS and maps. If you do not quite meet the requirements of the Delivery Driver role then why not consider joining us as a Driver’s Mate where you will work with our Drivers.
