Housing Allocations and Lettings Assistant Hillingdon, London Temporary Full Time We are seeking a dedicated and skilled candidate to join a team based in Hillingdon as a Housing Allocations and Lettings Assistant a full-time temporary ongoing basis. The post holder will provide advice and assistance to members of the community, and assist the Housing Team in providing appropriate accommodation. Requirements Previous experience working in a similar role, within housing allocations or social housing Knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Homelessness Reduction Act Knowledge of relevant services and benefits to best support applicants experiencing housing problems and at risk of homelessnesinteractioncellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and accessible manner Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlineinteractionperience providing an effective service to members of the public Role Expectations Arranging property viewings and providing information to prospective tenants Managing tenancy applications and ensuring all documentation is accurately processed Supporting with administrative tasks related to property management and allocation Liaise with external partners, including local authorities, housing associations, support agencies, to facilitate housing solutions and ensure effective service delivery Flexibility to work from home or multiple Council offices or partner offices, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Maintain Records: Accurately record all interactions, backssments, and decisions in line with relevant.
