This position is subject to budgetary approval and may start as early as July 1, 2024. Applicants should have obtained a Ph. D. in Forensic Science or a closely related field, with a strong academic background and an established record of excellence in innovative and scholarly research leading to peer-reviewed publications related to forensic science. Previous experience with casework, knowledge of current industry practices in forensic science, and/or relevant professional certifications are all considered assets. Preferred areas of research expertise to strengthen and complement our existing research strengths include biotechnology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, biochemistry, biomaterials, drug toxicology and ecotoxicology. .
