This position is based in Crescent Valley, BC. Job Summary Reporting to the Foreman, the Groundman/woman is responsible for ensuring the plant and its operations structures are in working order, maintaining the mechanical fitness of plant equipment, such as conveyors, burners, motors and gears, feeder bins, drum mixers and other related plant equipment. Main Responsibilities Safely unload hot oil form the delivery trucks. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. Operate front end loader, skid steer or other heavy equipment. Inspect and grease asphalt conveyors, and ensure equipment is functioning properly. Shovel asphalt and other plant materials.
