Purpose Contributes to the overall success of Marketing for Business Banking in Canada, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Key Accountabilities Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Supports the Business Banking Marketing team to deliver on acquisition and cross referral opportunities by managing the marketing needs for business banking business lines, while measuring results effectively to determine success. Marketing tactics not limited to: social, display, SEM, targeted, procurement, content development, employee engagement, event support as well as other needs on an ad hoc basis. Supports the development of comprehensive marketing strategies and/or initiatives focused on business banking segments Ensures that marketing activities that are undertaken are conducted in compliance with governing regulations (CASL, BILL96), internal policies, style guidelines, and procedures, escalating where necessary to ensure appropriate signoffs and approval processes are followed. Works towards outcomes by connecting with key relationships across a network of trusted partners which include the business line stakeholders, Marketing partners, Technology, Compliance, Legal and relevant vendors. Ensures brand styling oversight is applied across all business banking initiatives to both protect the brand and raise awareness. Champions a high-performance environment and demonstrates a commitment to Scotiabank’s values: accountability, passion, integrity and respect.
