We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips. Expected work schedule for the Communications Manager : Full- or part-time, flexible schedule Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projects Attendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff Retreats Pay structure for an Communications Manager : Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners Pay range is typically between $33,280 and $81,120 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors Communications Manager Benefits : Paid vacation, sick, holidays, and more (once eligible) Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for eligible staff Flexible hours and work-from-home availability Work for a growing Christian organization Staff care to support mental, social, and spiritual health for all staff About the area and Responsibilities of a Communications Manager The Communications Manager guides the strategy for all communications, website, and public relations messages and collateral to consistently articulate IFI's mission. The Communications Manager will: Coordinate media needs for local events, including, but not limited to, event signups, video and audio recordings, photography, and mailed or online promotions Research and develop social media strategies to be used by the Columbus ministry accounts and assist with creating post content Analyze Columbus websites performances, suggest, test, and implement improvements to increase visitor engagement online Manage communications positions and media interns to help them excel in their work and meet deadline and requirements Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role by sharing the vision of the ministry, ensuring minimum monetary standards are achieved, partner care, and sending out a ministry newsletter at least every other month to partners Qualifications/expectations of the Communications Manager: Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies Is faithful, loyal and dedicated to IFI's mandate from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently Ability to work under stress and be flexible Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications Communications Manager Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or demonstrable experience Experience supervising others and managing projects Training, experience, or certification in online media creation, social media, or online marketing Familiarity with concepts of design exemplified by a portfolio of work Willingness to use/learn Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Audition Experience/familiarity with global social media platforms and social media advertising is preferred, as is experience with cross-cultural ministry International Friendships, Inc.
