We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips. Expected work schedule for the Campus Ministry Director II : Full- or part-time, flexible schedule Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projects Attendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff Retreats Pay structure for a Campus Ministry Director II : Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners Pay range is typically between $46,800 and $114,400 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors Campus Ministry Director II Benefits : Paid vacation, sick, holidays, and more (once eligible) Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for eligible staff Flexible hours and work-from-home availability Work for a growing Christian organization Staff care to support mental, social, and spiritual health for all staff About the area and Responsibilities of a Campus Ministry Director II The Campus Ministry Director II is responsible for the oversight of the campus staff to be successful in their ministry activities. They provide pastoral care and support, strategic and mission based focus, administrative guidance, and communication to Campus Ministers and other ministry staff while helping the location leader to strengthen and grow their ministry location. The Campus Ministry Director II will (list not all inclusive): Strategic planning and team building for a specific campus location, such as: Establishing practices that lead to continuous reproduction of disciple makers, including mobilizing volunteers and student leaders, including establishing or maintaining IFI as a recognized student organization Ensure team has regular evangelism outreach and continuous discipleship activities Identifying and developing leaders, including among volunteers, students, and staff Regularly meet and coordinate with staff to set ministry goals, coordinate ministry efforts, and monitor effectiveness of ministry activities Supervisory tasks: Directly supervise at least 1-5 staff members and have a total team of 15-30 staff members Provide oversight and assessments for ministry performance and MPD expectations for direct reports Staff care for all staff members, especially for international staff Direct ministry: take part in activities, such as at least one of the following: Be a friendship partner or disciple at least one international student Participate in/lead a bible study for international students, sharing Christian spirituality as a way of life even among different cultures Participate in cultural activities with international students and relate with students from different cultures Maintain a good relationship with other campus international organizations and offices Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role by sharing the vision of the ministry, ensuring minimum monetary standards are achieved, partner care, and sending out a ministry newsletter at least every other month to partners Qualifications needed of a Campus Ministry Director II, including Spiritual Characteristics Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies Is faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mandate from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel Well organized with attention-to-detail and ability to complete tasks independently Be a self-starter, able to work independently, as well as a team player Ability to work under stress and be flexible Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications Ability to hold themselves and others accountable Education/Experience Preferred for a Campus Ministry Director II: Minimum of a Bachelor degree Minimum of five (5) years of cross-cultural ministry experience Minimum of five years managing a team of 5 or more people Certificate-level completion of Perspectives on the World Christian movement is preferred and, if not existent, should be completed within three years of employment with IFI.
