**NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED - WILL TRAIN! Clarke of Columbus, OH (Franklin County) is seeking to hire a Night Driver Technician to help control populations of adult mosquitoes by ensuring that spray equipment is working properly and applying an ultra-low volume mosquito control product to contracted communities, subdivisions, industrial sites, and other harborage areas. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about public health, sustainability, and who is looking for a flexible, graveyard shift position. You will be notified by 3-4pm if you are scheduled to work that night. WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY This position earns a competitive wage of $16.00/hr and generally works a 6:00PM-12AM/2AM shift (as needed, on call Monday - Thursday). The Night Field Technician supports the summer seasonal operation (generally May-September). A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT DRIVER TECHNICIAN As a Night Driver Technician, you are responsible for driving a company vehicle and/or operating an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) with a spray unit attached to apply a mosquito control product to contracted communities, subdivisions, industrial sites, and other harborage areas in an effort to control the mosquito population. A map will be given to you by your supervisor for you to utilize as you navigate your Truck through treatment routes while abiding all traffic laws. You have excellent attention to detail as you apply treatments accurately, safely, and in a timely manner. Lastly, you document all activity to ensure customer's contracts are completed. When you are not spraying, you are performing inspections and maintenance on your equipment, attending training , or helping in other aspects of your field. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A NIGHT DRIVER TECHNICIAN High school diploma or an equivalent Be 18 years of age or older Ability to pas all pre-employments (i.e., background check, motor vehicle records etc.). Ability to sit, drive a vehicle and/or ATV for extensive amounts of time. Valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record. Ability to work graveyard shift. Comfortable performing assigned duties while operating a vehicle through various residential communities, urban environments and traffic patterns where environmental conditions are affected by weather, pedestrians, and other operating vehicles Are you a problem-solver?
