The Holiday Inn , Capitol Square, Downtown Columbus is seeking a qualified Laundry Room Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience in a supervisory capacity. This is a physically demanding job requiring being on your feet for the majority of your shift. Guest satisfaction is our number one focus and you will be an integral part of the team, entrusted with providing outstanding service to our guests. This position allows for some flexible scheduling and operates on a variety of shifts seven day a week.The Laundry Room Supervisor is responsible for:-Leading staff relations effectively within the department Performing laundry functions in complete compliance with OSHA guidelines and requirementsEnsuring employees are properly handling the cleaning, storage and distribution of towels and linens to guest rooms Communicating any directives provided by the Rooms Division Manager and/or the Executive Housekeeper to employees and monitoring complianceMaking certain laundry equipment and facility are in the best operating conditionPromoting active team work within the department and maintaining strong interdepartmental relationsOther duties as assigned by the Executive HousekeeperThe hotel offers vacation pay, personal time off pay, paid holidays, free parking, 401k, health insurance as well as other company benefits.The hotel operates 365 days per years and as such a flexible schedule is required based on the business demands of the hotel.
