This is a 2023 Summer position. Lead groups of participants through a weeklong experience at The Summit Bechtel Reserve that involves trail building, participating in Summit activities and reinforcing the values of the Boy Scouts of America and the Order of the Arrow through these programs. Responsibilities: Partnered with an OASE Foreman (I) lead groups of participants through the OASE program. Support groups in the field when you are not assigned to a crew. Instruct participants on proper and safe trail building. Monitor the general health and safety of the participants and work with OASE and Summit leadership to address any issues. Qualifications & Training: Must be at least 21 years of age at the start of employment. Must have or be able to obtain Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR Certifications. Physical Requirements: Must submit a completed BSA Health and Medical form. Must meet the Summit Bechtel Reserve's high adventure height/weight requirements as laid out in the Summit BSA Health & Medical Record Must be able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 70lbs Uniform: Class A and Summit staff uniform - staff polo shirt w/ green or grey shorts/pants Housing: 10x12' Platform Tent; Foxtrot Base Camp
