The Oakbridge Summer Internship is a 10-week full-time summer program designed to provide students with hands-on experience to prepare for careers in the insurance and risk management industry. This is a unique opportunity to learn, contribute, and gain real-world work experience in a collaborative environment. Interns have the chance to learn about the insurance brokerage businesses while developing practical skills necessary for future success. The program equips interns with an understanding of working in an environment dedicated to exceeding client expectations and delivering products and services distinct to unique client needs. 10-week paid program in an Oakbridge office Challenging work on significant client projects One-on-one Internship mentoring Formal and informal feedback throughout the program On week at a carrier/partner field office in Charlotte, NC (expenses paid) Qualifications, Skills and Requirements: Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while meeting or exceeding deadlines Effective written and oral communication skills across a variety of audiences Must be self-motivated and disciplined Strong research and problem-solving skills Positive, upbeat attitude Ability to travel for one week during the program Education, Training and Experience : Applicants for this role should be rising juniors or seniors, graduating between December 2023 and June 2025, and have a GPA of 3.0 or above In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS); open to all majors Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Comfortable working with others in virtual environments Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations.
