Data Squad Volunteer Saturdays and Sundays 10am-5pm We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers that enjoy interacting with the public. Volunteers collect visitor feedback on our exhibits, programs, and experiences. Through surveying and interviewing, volunteers will have a chance to share valuable feedback to continually improve our experiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Approach visitors for data collection (surveying or interviews)• Carry out evaluation projects accurately and according to the direction and protocols established through training.• Establish rapport with a wide variety of visitors while asking questions in a consistent manner• Accurately record guest feedback Education and/or Experience: Volunteers are given a full training in evaluation techniques before they start. They are also offered continuous support and additional training through out to ensure you are confident in your role Physical Demands: • May require extensive periods of standing• May involve shifts that are outside • May require moving/carrying survey material Work Environment: Visitor facing, on the museum floor or outdoorsPhysically fit, with an ability to stand for extended periods of time and work outsideSome evening / weekend work may be required Job Posted by ApplicantPro
