Software Engineering (200006500) Westerville, OH. Duties: Plan, design, develop, execute, and maintain software application solutions that meet client business needs. Work with data engineers to design, build, roll-out, and support scalable data models, pipelines, and ETL processes. Responsible for software installation and configuration. Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and set up and maintain the production platform. Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging on developed applications. Provide Level 3 data operations documentation and support.Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Application Developer, Programmer Analyst, Associate - Projects (IT), or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience.Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: end-to-end software application design, development, coding, testing, and debugging throughout entire software development lifeycle (SDLC); IT architecture and business processes; implementing object-oriented distributed systems; commercial enterprise applications using Java and J2EE; JAX-WS and WS-Security; JAX-RS; ORM; IBM MQ Series; Spring; Spring-JMS; OSGI (Equinox and Apache Felix); DB2 database; Oracle database; multithreading; XML; XSD; JAXP; JAXB; StAX; Eclipse; Tomcat; SVN; Maven; and service oriented architecture (SOA).
