General Manager : A GBP 55,000 : Music Venue Job summary: We are partnered up with this fantastic international company and looking for a talented and experienced General Manager, someone who is an entrepreneurial and collaborative forward thinker, communicator, and leader, focused on driving sales, labour productivity, cost control and effective purchasing, while delivering best in class customer experience and continuing to learn and develop into their own role each day. You will work closely with colleagues both in the UK and internationally to promote the adoption of best practices, share knowledge and drive efficiency. Responsibilities: Recruit, develop and lead the site team, setting objectives and identifying growth potential in order to ensure high levels of employee engagement and retention. Assist in ensuring relevant licensing laws and health and safety policies are adhered to whilst acting as Duty Manager Play an active role in ensuring top line growth through an entrepreneurial approach to driving revenue through a variety of channels. Maximise EBITDA growth through consistent examination of wages and cost of sales, pulling levers as necessary to increase revenue, promote efficiency and control costs. Collaborate with the programming and production departments to ensure the effective planning and execution of the events calendar. Be responsible for compliance with all relevant internal and external policy and legislation, including Financial Control, Diversity and Inclusivity, Health and Safety and Premises Licensing. Oversee third party contracts and service level agreements, including facilities maintenance, security, cleaning, and waste management to ensure the venue is kept to the highest standard. Who are we looking for?
