About Henfox Limited Henfox is a new hospitality group based entirely in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The first venue, Cafe Impromptu, opened in June 2022. Our second venue, Machine Inn, opened in July 2023. We recently purchased the Knockerdown Inn and we are due to open at least three more venues in and around Ashbourne within the next six months. Henfox Limited is part of the historic Hopton Hall estate, where we have five holiday lets and our gardens and cafe are open to the public. General Manager A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to join our team located in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The starting salary for this position is anticipated at £32,000 per year. Our aim is to create distinctly memorable experiences and we strive to make every meal an occasion for our guests. Our group is expanding and we have several new venues currently undergoing full renovation. We value promoting from within, so we always have opportunities for advancement. Key duties include Supporting the Hospitality Director in hiring, training and supervising restaurant employees. Creating a staff schedule to ensure appropriate staff levels. Overseeing ordering. Addressing customer needs, comments and complaints. Adhering to and enforcing employee compliance with health and safety standards. Ensuring all employees are working within outlined operating standards. Confidently manage staff through a busy service and close to include ensuring the security of the building.
