Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking an Inquest Assistant to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this. ROLE: Inquest Assistant LOCATION: North London RATE: £15.00 to £23.00 per hour CONTRACT: 3 month ongoing, 36 hours per week Please note that this would be a full office based assignment. The Role To provide support in relation to inquests, assisting the Inquest Manager, Senior Coroner and Assistant Coroners Collate reports for the Senior Coroner and prepare files in connection with inquests Support the Inquest Manager with the management of inquests in accordance with statutory provisions To send out legal notices and responding to requests with their guidance The Person A law-related academic qualification LPC, LLM, LLB or qualified by relevant experience Previous legal administration experience would be essential, ideally within a court or dealing with inquests Previous public sector legal administration experience would be highly desirable for this role If this Inquest Assistant role sounds like an opportunity of interest, please feel free to reach out to Lloyd Stanley on 01772 xyzxyz , or email also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
