These Ground Investigation and Risk backssment specialists based in Gateshead are seeking an experienced and motivated Geo: environmental Engineer to join their team on a variety of exciting geotechnical/geo: environmental projects in the North: East. The geotechnical and environmental consultancy are expanding due to an increase in business, and therefore have the project exposure and resources to provide you with the training required and career progression desired. The Geo: environmental Engineer selected will be offered: A competitive salary of GBP28,000 : GBP33,000. An excellent company pension scheme and benefits. The successful Geo: environmental Engineer will be working both on site and in office on a range of contaminated land, site investigation, coal mining risk backssments and remediation projects. Youll be carrying out desktop studies, report writing, risk backssments and working with the team to ensure all projects are delivered to the highest standard, within Health and Safety standards. An understanding of and experience working within geo: environmental/geotechnical engineering is essential. The Geo: environmental Engineer considered will: Have a degree in environmental science, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geology (or a similar/relevant subject). Have experience as a geo: environmental engineer/consultant. Have or be working towards chartership. Hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence. Be commutable to Gateshead. Have a full right to work in the UK.
