Hatch is seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineering student with interest in Mechanical & Piping engineering in our Project Delivery Group for a 4–8-month work term starting May 2024 at our Trail, B. C. location. Reporting to the Mechanical Discipline Lead Engineer, you will support projects locally working from our Trail office location and at project job sites, with opportunities to participate in other projects globally, developed in other Hatch offices. As the successful candidate, you will: Work independently and as part of a team to complete mechanical and piping engineering design deliverables for a variety of projects. Assist with mechanical engineering detailed design and deliverables. Become knowledgeable with industrial mechanical design and their practical applications, regional codes and standards (CSA, ASME, ASHRAE, ISO, etc. ), various engineering design tools and applications,.
