Job Title: Parcel Delivery Driver Location: Banbury Salary: GBP 13.37 p. h Hours: 11am to 7pm Monday to Saturday (with a day off during the week)Contract Type: Temporary Sector: Delivery We are currently recruiting 5 X Parcel Delivery Drivers to work on a temporary assignment, supporting Royal Mail at their Banbury Delivery Office. You will be responsible for delivering parcels to residential and commercial properties quickly and efficiently, following on a dedicated route, with completion required within a set timescale, whilst maintaining high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service. Other duties may also include some postal delivery on foot and sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office. The role is working 5 shifts per week which will include Saturdays, shift times will be approximately 11am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday with a rest day during the week. Please be aware that this position will involve driving Royal Mail vans, therefore you must have a valid UK driving licence and the ability to drive vans. You will need to pass a security vetting process and have the following skills and experience: Hold a valid UK Driving Licence : with no more than 6 points for minor offences, No DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes (Driving licences must be registered to your current home address) Demonstrate excellent customers service and communication skills Upbeat and self: motivated Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather Good levels of fitness to meet demands of the role Excellent organisation skills whilst being extremely methodical Resilience and flexibility Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst adhering to company procedures and regulations Have good knowledge of the Banbury area and surrounding villages Previous delivery experience would be an advantage If you would like for this exciting opportunity, please submit your cv by clicking the Apply button.
