Product ManagerCoilcraft is a successful, privately-held company in Cary, IL with a worldwide reputation for high-quality passive electronic components. Coilcraft operates in various industries, including telecommunication, computers, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking an experienced Electronic Component Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic components, including but not limited to inductors, capacitors, resistors, diodes, and transistors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and improving the performance of the company's electronic components products by providing technical support to internal teams, conducting market research, and staying up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements.Key Responsibilities: Serve as a technical expert for customers and sales representatives, answering questions and providing solutions to technical issues in person with customers. Provide technical support to internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer service Conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and competition Identify opportunities for new electronic component products and make recommendations for product development Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and market share Provide training and education to internal teams and customers on electronic components Participate in industry events, such as trade shows and conferences, to stay informed about new products and trends Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field At least 5 years of experience in electronic component product management or a related field Excellent knowledge of electronic components, including their applications and specifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with product development and management Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs Willingness to travel for industry events and supplier meetings 30-40% Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteran This position may require compliance with ITAR export regulations; applicants must be U.S. citizens or have permanent resident status.
