A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT COORDINATOR The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Coordinator coordinates PCA scheduling, oversees the day-to-day activities of the PCA Members and communicates with the Advantage Staffing Manager any issues. This position recruits and hires Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and communicates with Case Managers for all Members. In the day you will answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate staff member, match members schedules with PCAs, and maintains PCA and member activity in Harmony system. Othe duties include assist ADvantage staffing manager in updating census weekly, assists in recruiting Person Care Assistant and general orientation, weekly overlap claims for Person Care Assistant, track and manage units allowed per member for all PCAs, weekly overlap claims of PCAs, completes criminal history checks for new hires and works with new hires to complete all paperwork and set up employee files. A few other duties are entering information, keep up on office forms, maintain regular attendance and assist with other duties. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 years of clerical experience. Physical requirements: continuous sitting, bending/stooping, walking, kneeling and standing. Detail orientated and good time management. Do you have both empathy and a clear understanding of appropriate professional boundaries? Are you reliable, punctual, organized, and able to effectively prioritize tasks? Do you have good communication and interpersonal skills? Are you flexible and patient?
