A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST Prep qualifying incoming items using third party software to identify, label, barcode and place items on mobile shelving for the listers. Shelve and inventory all listed items for the listers. Maintain accurate inventory and proper shelving to be sure shippers can easily find and pull listed items. Use reporting systems to track items to enhance the process of keeping higher valued items and sending lower valued items back to the stores. Assist in the tracking of incoming/outgoing contributions for the department, including helping the Collectibles Presorter with carts and with the incoming/outgoing jewelry totes as well. Establish and maintain good working relationships with both the Shopgoodwill team as well as the retail stores. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST High School Diploma or GED preferred Computer proficiency with strong internet knowledge with the ability to navigate auction sites and use multiple browsers. Awareness of quality merchandise and familiarity with antiques and collectibles Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to Goodwill's insurance provider Are you a can-do, get-it-done person?
