Capital University is seeking a Nursing Adult and Graduate Admissions Administrator. This position will manage the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment process for prospective students for nursing adult and graduate programs to help achieve enrollment goals of Capital University and the School of Nursing. Admissions, recruitment, outreach, counseling, and program and event coordination as well as participation in marketing efforts are all significant functions of this position. Occasional travel is required. Primary Responsibilities: Implement, monitor, and achieve annual recruitment goals for Capital University and the School of Nursing in consistent prospect follow-up, routine tracking procedures, and development of reports on the inquiry and applicant pools. Participate in the planning and implementation of recruitment activities and strategies to cultivate and recruit prospective applicants including but not limited to on-campus visits, visit days, orientation days, and off-campus and virtual recruitment events. Manage applicant pool, utilizing Slate CRM and ongoing strategic communication, including in person appointments, phone calls, direct mail, email, and social media, all in an effort to encourage an application for admission and enrollment. Counsel and guide prospective applicants on the admissions process, program requirements, curriculum plan, and resources at the University from initial contact through acceptance and matriculation. Respond with immediacy to the needs of the prospect. Represent Capital's and the School of Nursing's Mission, Philosophy, Values, and Culture when interacting with prospective students as well as with internal and external organizations and constituents. Serve as part of the Admissions team, coordinating and collaborating with colleagues. Assume other appropriate responsibilities as delegated by the senior Admission staff and School of Nursing Administration. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree required; Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred. 1-2 years related outreach experience preferred. Ability to manage and recruit prospective students to meet enrollment goals. Ability to counsel and guide prospective and accepted students by accessing and providing information relevant to the admission and enrollment process. Demonstrates ability to work with a wide range of people and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to interact effectively and represent the institution professionally with a variety of on and off campus constituents. Skills in effective verbal and written communication and public presentation. Solid organization and project implementation skills. Working knowledge of computers and ability to work with database software tools. Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member. Strong student-centered ethic and customer service orientation. Passion about Capital University, the School of Nursing, and Higher Education.
