We are currently seeking a talented Battery Test Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery technology within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: As a Battery Test Engineer, you will be responsible for: Utilizing Vector & Can Analyzer for communication with battery pack & associated assemblies. We are currently seeking a talented Battery Test Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery technology within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: As a Battery Test Engineer, you will be responsible for: Utilizing Vector & Can Analyzer for communication with battery pack & associated assemblies. Creating dashboards for the Operations team to interpret battery communication data easily. Developing in-line and end-of-line battery verification processes & procedures. Creating and verifying test scripts for module/battery pack cycling using NHR's & AV900/lynx. Developing leak test processes/procedures for in-line & end-of-line quality checks using Sciemetric/Furnace controls/Infacon. Performing software flashing of battery BMS and associated assemblies. Identifying battery fault codes/failure modes through experimental work during the prototype phase. Supporting battery teardown diagnosis post prototype testing. Collaborating cross-functionally to define pass/fail criteria for in-line & end-of-line testing. Working with the production/manufacturing site team to hand over test procedures/specs from the prototype location including best practice & lessons learned. Developing Operations technician team in core test competencies and use of test equipment. Defining hardware requirements for battery programs including harnesses and test equipment.
