Description:
Position Overview Manages and performs a variety of advanced professional engineering assignments in the design and development of County infrastructure improvements, requiring advanced expertise in a specialized area of engineering or in multiple engineering-related functions. The incumbent acts as a resource to engineers and technicians on complex projects and manages or oversees projects, project components, and professional contracts. Work assignments are received with little technical instruction and require the selection of course of action and resolution of complex or unique problems with considerable latitude for independent judgment to develop procedures, systems and establish priorities working within the frameworks of established administrative guidelines.
