Senior Account Executive - Atlanta The Opportunity We’re looking for an integrated account services professional to join our team. This individual will have diverse experience and eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude that allows them to be helpful to colleagues, clients and the work outcomes. As Sr. Account Executive, you will be working as part of an integrated team of account handlers, strategists, creatives and producers. This role will report to our Senior Account Manager/Account Director and/or Group Account Director for Atlanta and work primarily on some of Iris’ largest healthcare clients. You’ll need to have experience supporting accounts in an agency environment, in the form of building timelines, organizing internal action plans, and tracking project workstreams through to completion. You will differentiate by having experience owning communication to clients to identify project next steps, and collaborating with internal peers and managing up to Account leadership in order to action those next steps appropriately. This individual will manage multiple projects at times and will need to understand prioritization and have a clear sense of how to manage upwards to Account leadership as well as laterally to peers as a key owner of project executions. Experience working in or with clients as part of a large matrixed organization with many stakeholders a plus. Hybrid Role: Expected to be in Atlanta office regularly at least 2 days per week (specifically on “Wednesday anchor days”). Based in Atlanta with some travel to client meetings required (estimated 5-10%) Duties and Responsibilities: Support marketing operations, financial, and cross-functional team collaboration as directed by Account leadership. In certain cases, communicate project impediments to clients, vendors and team – consistently setting expectations. Build and maintain trusting client relationships- create the best work, implement projects seamlessly and consistently manage client expectations. Organize and support ongoing client communication including regularly scheduled meetings/calls and provide exceptional follow-up, written reports and presentations. Work with internal cross-functional teams to deliver on time and on budget. Support Account leadership in conducting regular checks and reviews of financial health of your accounts and maintain exceptionally detailed tracking of client billing, and production expenses where required. Work across our Iris global community of offices and teams to execute project work when needed. Required Skills/Experience: 3-4 years of experience across any combination of marketing/advertising agency, client or brand-side work, or equivalent. Experience with medium to large/global brands a must. Experience leading or collaborating with campaign-driven projects on a regional, national or global scale. Integrated agency collaboration experience – have worked on a client or brand that has involved multiple agencies at once, all partnering in different swim lanes to execute client campaigns, content, or sales enablement initiatives. Project management experience either as a primary role or as an aspect of a prior role. High level of interpersonal, written and communication skills Who are we? About Iris We are Iris.
