To work as part of a team of cleaning/housekeeping staff involved in the day-to-day delivery of the cleaning service of the centre in order to ensure the delivery of a first-class cleaning service for the centre. Responsibilities Ensure that the cleaning services are delivered to meet the high standards for students and staff to enjoy clean and hygienic surroundings. To ensure that all the chemical and products for cleaning are stored and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions COSHH and directions. Ensure a safe working environment and minimise risk of accident and injury of themselves and users of the areas cleaned. Clean the classrooms, residences and offices cleaning service following all the procedures and standards. Bed changes and room organisation in all wings. Skills and Experience Essential Previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping Additional Information Salary: £12.00 per hour depending on experience Location: Eastbourne Contract: 0-hour contract Hours: As required including weekends and bank holidays Please Note: The successful candidate must be able to work in the UK. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a standard or an enhanced disclosure via the DBS, depending on the role itself. All gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily.
