Exciting, long-term opportunity for an experienced Contract Mechanical Engineer – Process, to work with our customer based in Staffordshire. The role will be based mostly on-site with occasional opportunities to work from home. This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC. The role will be based mostly on-site with occasional opportunities to work from home. This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC. Our customer is a well-known and highly respected provider of technical machinery, which is designed and developed in the UK and sold around the world. They serve a range of industries which include FMCG, chemical and automation. As a result of a large-scale and prestigious project win, they are seeking a range of professional contractors. You will be working with a project team to support the implementation of mechanical equipment – this would suit an engineer used to verifying designs and leasing with 3rd parties to make sure the parts are compatible throughout the installation and commissioning phase of this project. Key skills required – Contract Mechanical Engineer – Process, Staffordshire: - Proven experience of the full life cycle of projects, from the support of initial design work through to validation and commission. - An understanding/appreciation of process flow diagrams, P&IDs and other mechanical engineering principles- Experience of working with valves, pumps and pipe work- Experience of working in the food, beverage, process or chemical industry would be of particular interest For more information or to apply for the Contract Mechanical Engineer - Process opportunity in Staffordshire, please contact Kieran Pratt.
