Role Overview: As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you'll play a pivotal role within our client's team, ensuring they meet business performance commitments to key stakeholders. Your main focus will be overseeing the Manufacturing Engineering function across their site. This involves defining and enhancing new products for release to manufacture post-design phase, managing cost improvement objectives, and providing crucial technical support to the operational function. Responsibilities: Provide technical support to manufacturing for product/process design and functionality. Maintain collaborative relationships with Product Management and Engineering teams. Manage a team of ten individuals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success Drive implementation of LEAN and CI practices. Achieve labour and material cost reduction goals aligned with site objectives. Initiate disruptive cost reduction plans within existing processes.
