Responsibilities of a Science Teacher: 1 Teaching science curriculum: The science teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging and informative lessons that align with the curriculum. They should ensure that the content is accessible and tailored to the individual needs and abilities of the students. 2 Supporting student learning: The science teacher should provide individualised support to students who may have diverse learning needs or require additional assistance. This may involve adapting teaching methods, providing extra resources, or offering one: on: one guidance. 3 Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment: It is important for the science teacher to foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected. They should promote positive behaviour management techniques and encourage collaboration and mutual respect among students. 4 backssing student progress: The science teacher is responsible for backssing and monitoring student progress through various methods such as tests, assignments, projects, and practical experiments. They should provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills. 5 Collaborating with colleagues and professionals: The science teacher may need to collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development and well: being of the students. This may involve participating in team meetings, sharing information, and coordinating efforts. 6 Promoting scientific inquiry and critical thinking: The science teacher should encourage students.
