Management Accountant FTC £35,000 - £40,000pa (DOE) Stone, Staffordshire My client are currently on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to work with them on a 12-14 month fixed term contract. This opportunity is set to start mid-September and interviews will be carried out from the beginning of September. Complimentary Pure Gym Membership : Get fit, courtesy of the company! Generous Pension Contribution : They contribute a full 10% to your pension. Comprehensive Sick Pay : Providing support during unexpected downtimes. As a Management Account you will be responsible for carrying out all necessary administrative tasks to cover the finance department and support the Finance Director in their duties. Main Responsibilities: Reconciling bank accounts and ledgers, as well as end of month reconciliation and petty cash management. Carrying out accruals, prepayments, GRNU and provisions. Managing drawdowns and approving payments. Wages accruals and managing fixed assets. Managing and carrying out VAT returns and corporation tax payments. Assisting/covering tasks from the Finance Assistant when necessary, including invoice processing and daily bank management. To be successful in your application you must have: A knowledge and understanding that this is a 1214-month fixed term contract and will be working on site 5 days a week. Proficiency in using SAGE Line 50. The ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the team but have the indicative to work independently. Confidence in using Microsoft products such as Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Experience in a similar role, a minimum of at least 5 years is required.
