Location : Calgary, AB, Canada Title : Delivery Driver NOC code : 75201Positions available : 1Salary : $18.50/hour Start date : As soon as possible Language : English Education : Secondary Education Experience : Experience is an asset Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)Duties• Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various products, such as food, newspapers, magazines, bakery and dairy products, and items such as dry cleaning• May use mobile communications technology to contact central dispatch. • Possibility to assemble, install, or set up delivered items or goods• Schedule delivery trips and servicing routes. • Provide client service by selling goods, making deliveries over well-established routes, and taking or processing payments for purchases. • Load and unload freight, products, or merchandise• Can scan and sort delivery-related items or goods• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. • Keep track of deliveries and pick-ups, mileage and fuel prices, and record any incidents or issues that arise.
