Req ID: 23742 Vacancy Type: Permanent Number of Positions: 1 Closing Date: Job Summary Reporting to the Manager of Community & Neighbourhood Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Community Development Coordinators to initiate and maintain positive and effective relationships with community stakeholders and internal departments to support the successful implementation policies and initiatives that keep Mississauga residents active, healthy and connected to their communities. Duties and Responsibilities • Provide guidance to community groups to access support available from the City including the Community Group Registry Program and Grants Programs: o Build and maintain relationships with community groups o Support navigation and facilitate compliance with city processes and requirements o Provide timely and effective customer service o Implement problem-solving skills to resolve issues as required o Attend and provide on-site support as required o Develop and maintain communication and resource materials o Provide support for community engagement and capacity building activities including coordination of network meetings and learning opportunities o Track and monitor key performance indicators • Provide support for the administration of City grants and funding opportunities including the Arts & Culture, Festival & Celebrations, Culture Projects, Heritage, Community and Small Project Matching Grant Programs including coordination of outreach and information sessions, review of grant applications and reports to ensure accurate and complete, coordination of the grants backssment process with external peer reviewers, maintenance of the online grants portal and other administrative systems. • Provide support for the administration of the Community Group Registry Program including review of new applications and annual renewals, maintaining online and other administrative systems • Provide project leadership and implementation.
