The Homecare Buddy will play a vital role in the life of the child they work with, fostering a safe and enriching environment while contributing to their growth through aiding in daily activities.Responsibilities: Provide attentive and compassionate care to children with developmental delays in a both a home and public setting Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social development. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light household chores related to childcare. Establish a nurturing and supportive relationship with each child, understanding their individual needs and preferences. Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children, ensuring their well-being at all times. Serve as a positive role model for the children, demonstrating patience, responsibility, and empathy in all interactions. Qualifications: Genuine passion for working with children with varying developmental abilities and supporting their growth and development. Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families. Patience, understanding, and empathy towards children, recognizing and respecting their individuality. CPR and first aid certification may be required (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
