The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, including a J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School, and possess an active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Prompt ability to obtain admission in the State of Iowa is required. Duties:Provide strategic legal advice and counsel on complex corporate and transactional matters.Lead negotiations and drafting of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Conduct thorough due diligence reviews for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management issues.Manage and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff members. Requirements:7+ years of experience practicing corporate and transactional law.Demonstrated expertise in structuring and executing complex corporate transactions.Strong academic background with a J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School.Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.Ability to promptly obtain admission in the State of Iowa. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-Accredited Law School. Certifications:Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Skills:Extensive knowledge of corporate and transactional law principles.Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and collaborate with colleagues and clients.Detail-oriented approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work. This Iowa-based law practice has two offices in the state and is comprised of a fairly large group of veteran attorneys. It specializes in all aspects of litigation and handles a wide range of issues related to agricultural law, corporate transactions, business counseling, antitrust trade regulations, and insurance defense coverage. This law practice is involved in numerous philanthropic efforts throughout the year and has received honorable mention in well-known legal publications.
