Accounting Manager Location: Greenville, SC *This is not a remote position* Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a robust background in accounting and bookkeeping, and the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Responsibilities: --- Training and Development: Demonstrate a proven ability to train and mentor accounting staff, ensuring their continuous professional growth. --- Audit and Quality Control: Oversee and complete quality control audits, ensuring the highest standards of quality control are maintained in all financial processes. You are ultimately responsible for ensuring the bookkeeping reports are accurate for our clients. Troubleshooting and correcting errors are apart from this job role. --- Team Leadership: Take the lead in managing and guiding the accounting team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture. You will be a Senior-level staff member, so there will be limited oversight. We are looking for an EXPERT in the accounting industry. --- Accountability: Hold team members accountable for meeting performance expectations and achieving established goals. Qualifications: --- Required: Experience working within a CPA firm managing 20+ client relationships and management of financial records/reporting. --- EXPERT-level background in accounting and bookkeeping. --- Must be able to review Balance Sheet, Income Statement, GL, and find and correct errors on bookkeeping reports. --- Robust knowledge of QuickBooks Online. --- Previous experience in a managerial role, demonstrating effective leadership. --- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. --- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
