ME Planner Location: West Lafayette, IN Job ID: #69157 Pay Range: $30-60 Citizenship Requirement: U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder)Min years of experience: 5+ years Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in STEM or minimum 5 years comparable experience in related field Detailed Job Description: * Review and maintain work instructions and bills of materials to specify assembly processes * Provide manufacturability analysis related to new or changed processes * Investigate and resolve manufacturing process issues * Author process plans for new processes using internally approved manufacturing processes and requirements * Author process plans for non-compliant structure via non-conformance reports (NCRs) instigated by manufacturing * Process work instruction and sequence changes for release * Contribute to continuous improvement for efficient productionAdditional/Alternate Skill Set: * Experience with reviewing managing NCRs and Technical Document Change Logs. * Familiar with Boeing BACs and PS documentSkills and Experience: * Strong understanding of aero structure assembly manufacturing preferred * 2+ years of model-based definition experience * 2+ years of manufacturing planning experience, preferably in Delmia * Driven, innovative and demonstrates strong initiative * Excellent communication and analytical skills * Ability to work well independently, as well as collaboratively, in a team setting Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
