Oversee the day to day operations of a gold tiered child development center, school-age before and after school site, and summer day camp program, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for all ages. Drive program innovation and growth by spearheading initiatives to continuously improve the quality and scope of childcare services offered. Ensure compliance with licensing, Step Up to Quality, and curriculum implementation maintaining meticulous records and documentation to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality and accountability. Foster strong family and community engagement by developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, guardians, and local stakeholders, implementing effective communication strategies, and organizing family events. Provide leadership in staff supervision, including hiring, training, mentoring, and retaining a team of dedicated childcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment. Wants to make a difference through their work in a caring, educational setting that is rooted in the mission of the YMCA, a non-profit, charity organization. Qualifications and Skills: At least 21 years old Associates degree or higher in Education or related field and CPL level 3 required Previous experience working with children under 13 1-3 years of staff team engagement & supervisory experience Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills Experience with the State of Ohio Child Care Licensing requirements and Step Up to Quality system Job Posted by ApplicantPro
