DevOps Lead Engineer

Description:
Automate deployment, monitoring, incident response and maintain infrastructure in AWS; Scripting, and software development using one or more programming languages using DRY best practices; Maintenance of configuration management tools; Develop and improve best practices for Infrastructure as Code and software; Build tools and promote CI/CD; Optimize performance, scale out and build resiliency in the platform; Monitoring Infrastructure cost to help meet 3rd Eyes business model expectations; Deploy system and security patches and updates, including managing the patching platform for servers; Participate in on-call rotations; Manage a team of DevOps Engineers; Set technical roadmap of DevOps tools; and Technical representation for internal, Sox, and SOC 2 audits. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology and Computing, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in DevOps Engineering. Employer will also accept a Master's Degree in Information Technology and Computing, Engineering or a related field and 3 years experience in DevOps Engineering. Of the above experience, must have 3 years of experience in General IT Operations such as Server and Asset Management in the cloud or physical; 3 years of experience in Linux - OS Management; 3 years of experience in Cloud Based DevOps; 3 years experience in AWS management; 3 Years experience in Cloud Automation such as Jenkins, Ansible or Terraform; 3 Years experience in Cloud networking; and 3 Years experience in Cloud Security preferably using AWS tools. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. 25% Domestic Travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
