In this pivotal role, you will lead a Quality team, refine manufacturing processes, and uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about driving innovation, this role offers the chance to make a substantial impact at a global powersports leader.Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of 10 hourly Quality team members. Design and implement quality control process sampling systems, statistical techniques, and procedures. Serve as the primary liaison to production supervisors and staff for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions affecting production. Oversee and maintain the manufacturing quality system for specific product groups. Engage in design reviews, identifying significant and critical feature characteristics on blueprints. Coordinate quality aspects for new product development, including on-site start-ups, tool, and vendor certifications. Ensure external vendors meet Polaris quality standards. Specify and design inspection, testing mechanisms, and equipment. Establish and document criteria for critical assembly components and supporting process control. Analyze production limitations and standards, proposing specification revisions as needed. Develop and implement quality control training programs in collaboration with the Human Resources Department.Desired Competencies Leadership: You are adept at inspiring, influencing, and guiding teams toward achieving exceptional performance and operational goals. Effective communication bridges the gap between diverse functions and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Experience mentoring or leading others required. Experience reading and interpreting engineering blueprints. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills with a proven record of fostering team-oriented environments.
