Job Details:Meet with and advise clients on business legal matters such as intellectual property, entity formation, contract law, commercial leases, and asset protectionManage own caseload with little supervision, ensuring efficient case handling and communication with clients and staffFormulate creative solutions to complex legal issues while prioritizing client interestsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with business clients, serving as a trusted advisorCollaborate with Estate Planning attorneys on business succession, estate, and tax planning mattersIdentify ongoing business and legal needs of clientsSupervise the firm's entity maintenance program and review legal documents prepared by staffAdvise clients on trademark applications and commercial real estate transactionsAnalyze and negotiate contracts with third parties and attorneysPerform legal research to assist clients in case evaluations and strategiesContribute to firm efficiency and development of processes and proceduresPerform additional related duties as assigned Requirements:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolLicense to practice law in California after passing the Bar exam8+ years of in-depth experience as an attorney in Business LawExceptional communication and problem-solving skillsComfort with technology platforms such as Wealth Counsel, ActionStep, Lexis Nexis, and GavelStrong legal research skillsFluency in Spanish preferred
