At the Plant Manager, your key responsibilities encompass strategic formulation, performance enhancement, resource procurement, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for training team members, enhance customer service quality, and integrate optimal practices throughout the organization. Your pivotal role is to ensure the company's adherence to regulations, efficiency, and profitability throughout its operations.Client DetailsFood Manufacturing CompanyDescription Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the annual production budget, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Monitor production costs, identify areas for cost optimization, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to track expenses, analyze variances, and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability. Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer demand. Coordinate production activities to maximize resource utilization and minimize downtime. Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and improve productivity. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly. Work closely with quality assurance teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain product quality and consistency. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors, operators, and support staff to achieve production targets and operational excellence. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration among team members. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and performance. Health, Safety, and Environmental Management: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Promote a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures. Investigate and address safety incidents and near misses to prevent recurrence and promote a culture of safety awareness.Profile Minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Strong knowledge of food processing techniques, equipment, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP). Proven track record of driving operational improvements and achieving measurable results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Effective Communication Skills - verbal and written - a must; bilingual a plus. Prior experience in Food Manufacturing. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proven leadership and ability to train and develop subordinates, including the ability to conduct training sessions for all plant personnel. Must be willing to work occasional weekends and long days when necessary.
