The Senior Attorney will be responsible for conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and appearing in court. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interactions with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties. The role also involves producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess 4+ years of experience in civil litigation, with proficiency in research, writing, and analytical skills. Duties:Conduct and defend depositionsManage a case docketAppear in courtCommunicate effectively with various stakeholdersProduce deliverables efficientlyAnswer phone calls and reply to correspondence promptlyMeet deadlines and expectations consistentlyEngage in physical and sedentary activities as requiredPerform additional assigned duties, tasks, or projects Requirements:4+ years of experience in civil litigationExcellent research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writingExperience with multi district litigation is a plus Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of Illinois (or ability to waive in) Skills:Strong oral and written communication skillsTime management and organizational skillsAttention to detailAbility to work independently and collaborativelyProficiency in legal research and writing This Amlaw firm is best known for allowing its associates to find a balanced work load that best suites them.
