Essential Duties and Responsibilities Carry out all continuous improvement projects as assigned Implement and execute on projects as they are determined Adhere to timelines as they have been determined by management and operations Work interdepartmentally to ensure any continuous improvement implementation effects are handled prior to the completion of the projects Conducting all stock counts and verification of quantities and locations Responsible for incoming inspection of goods Checking and verifying the goods we receive (checking 1 box for verification of correct product and quantity) Clerk and Associate back-up in the event of absenteeism or heavier than normal work load Non-essential Duties and Responsibilities Ad hoc duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Adaptability Works in an environment where a finished document or procedure must suddenly be updated. Problem Analysis Approaches difficulties in warehouse with an open mind and assesses possibilities, detects problems before they re major issues (problems with machines, inefficiencies, conflicting data) Job Knowledge Takes direct action to make improvements in all areas under his/her control, makes concrete proposals for other areas Cooperation Works effectively with production personnel to improve workflow, coordinates with Warehouse Manager and other colleagues to achieve goals Focus on Quality Identifies areas for improvement in general Qualifications Education and/or experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must Multi Task Knowledge of part numbers, types and codes Knowledge of safety and operating regulations Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience Emotional Intelligence Proven Ability/knowledge to work in fast past high-volume environment Physical Demands While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift; use hands and fingers to handle materials with care as they assemble the components together. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend, reach and multitask. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The work environment is a mix of standard office environment and production environment. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the production environment can be loud. Correct usage of appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety boots, is required. Work Schedule The position is full time working Monday through Friday 7:00p.m. to 3:30p.m. Acknowledgement This job description may be modified at the sole discretion of management.
