If helping a new business to grow and excel is what you are all about, we’d love to have you join our team! Job Summary: Take pride in creating a finished product by hand while also learning a craft. Carpenters are responsible for fabricating interior/exterior doors, moldings, trim, handrails, and a variety of other specialty products. As an apprentice you will earn a paycheck while getting on-the-job training in basic carpentry skills, the technology used in creating the products, measuring, cutting and assembly of finished products. Responsibilities we’ll trust you with: Set up and safe operation of all machinery used in product fabrication. Assist in maintaining accurate production records. Learn species of products, correct measurements, quality control and safety mechanics. Machine setting and changing machines as needed to meet product specifications and requirements. Inspect finished products for defects and ensuring quality of finished products. Communicating with team and with team leads on projects Perform other duties as assigned. Your area of knowledge and expertise: Preferred qualifications: High school diploma or GED 1 – 3 years’ experience in a production environment Skills: Takes pride in completed works Technical ability to visualize 3-D models Machine savvy Fine motor skills Able to work independently and as a team Operates from a safety mindset Physical Requirements: Frequent carrying and lifting - Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
