Summary Early Learner Instructional Assistant Blessed Sacrament Huguenot is seeking an enthusiastic Instructional Assistant who will assist with providing care, supervision, and learning activities to children in a preschool environment.Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in imparting classroom instruction based on predefined curriculum Ensure development of positive relationships with students with a view to promote self-esteem and self- discipline Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment Assist the lead teacher in ensuring the physical, social, cognitive and educational excellence of children Must demonstrate success in working as a member of a team QualificationsA minimum of High School Diploma with relevant, proven experience working with preschool aged children. CDA or Associates Degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood preferred.Interested applicants are invited to send a cover letter, resume, and Diocesan application to Wendy Lipscomb, Director of Early Learners.
