Duties JOB DUTIESWe are searching for Passionate educators to join us on this revolutionary and exciting journey! FINE ARTS GUIDE We are searching for a Fine Arts Guide to join us on this revolutionary and exciting journey! Our Fine Arts Guide will be challenged to implement a cohesive art or music curriculum with the Montessori Method and Wisconsin state teaching standards by lesson planning, progress tracking, and leading small and full group instruction while maintaining a clean and purposeful environment that meets these curriculum standards. The curriculum should include design elements, color theory, and the creation of 2D and 3D art OR Music teachings including basic theory and rhythmic techniques. Our fine art teacher is responsible for implementing two gallery showings or concerts. ? Completing Progress reporting through frequent observations? Providing timely feedback to students? Lesson planning? Implementing curriculum in a meaningful way? Being prepared? Providing small group & one on one instruction? Implementing Montessori lessons: impressionistic & abstract? Communicating with parents? Collaborating and leveraging peer educators? Meeting with students? Adapting teaching methods and learning paths for each student? Fostering a love of learning? Leading Labs, Socratic Seminars & Project based learning? Maintaining a clean and purposeful environment? Supporting students in a kind and respectful way? Leading Parent/teacher conferences? Assisting Students to develop & structure student-led conferences? Maintaining a safe and collaborative studio atmosphere? Acting as a good role model in attitude, speech, and actions? Teaching core academic subjects and general electives such as gardening, keyboarding,and cursiveTeachers will be responsible for ensuring that all students are being challenged individually and are meeting and exceeding all state required testing standards in a way that is meaningful to each student.
