The School in Rose Valley (SRV) is seeking to hire an Upper Elementary Lead Teacher for the fall of 2024. This is a unique opportunity to work for one of the oldest progressive schools in the United States and be part of a collaborative and supportive community. Qualified candidates will have at least a bachelor's degree, three years of successful teaching, and a strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education. Ideal candidates will have an understanding of progressive education. The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the public is essential. SRV is a progressive school for preschool through sixth-grade children. Our Mission is to know and love our students, support their natural enthusiasm for learning and play, and inspire them to make a positive difference in their world.
